We're excited to announce our newest offshore fishing adventure for 2027 — the 10-Hour Full Moon Hoo-Rush Wahoo Expedition, a dedicated high-speed trolling charter designed for anglers who want to experience the explosive power and blistering speed of one of the Atlantic Ocean's most exciting gamefish.
Departing from Sebastian Inlet, Florida, this isn't your typical offshore trolling trip. We're heading out early, running hard, and focusing on one mission: finding trophy wahoo during the early-morning feeding window around the full moon.
Why We're Introducing a Dedicated Wahoo Charter
Wahoo are among the fastest and most powerful predators in the Gulf Stream. Known for their razor-sharp teeth, beautiful blue-and-silver stripes, and screaming first runs, these fish deliver an unforgettable offshore fishing experience.
Captain Scott has designed this specialized charter around the early-morning wahoo bite, particularly during selected weekends surrounding the full moon.
Our goal is to have our trolling spread working productive offshore waters when wahoo may be actively feeding.

Unlike traditional trolling charters, our Full Moon Hoo-Rush focuses on high-speed trolling at approximately 14–18 knots, when sea conditions permit.
We use specialized equipment designed to handle these demanding conditions:
Heavy-duty 50-wide two-speed conventional reels
High-speed trolling lures in proven wahoo colors
Heavy, streamlined trolling weights
Heavy-duty tackle and rigging built for powerful strikes
A trolling spread designed specifically to attract fast-moving wahoo
We'll generally target offshore waters approximately 25–35 miles from Sebastian Inlet, working productive Gulf Stream edges, temperature changes, and other promising areas.

The Full Moon Advantage: First Light Matters
One of the most exciting parts of this charter is our early departure.
We'll leave at approximately 5:30 AM, giving us an opportunity to reach productive offshore fishing grounds during the early-morning bite.
Captain Scott believes selected full-moon periods can offer exciting opportunities for wahoo fishing. While no bite is guaranteed, these are the windows we're specifically planning to target.

Reservation deposit: $250
Additional fuel surcharge: Applies due to the fuel demands of high-speed trolling; the amount will be disclosed before booking.
