From May through September, Captain Scott and First Mate Dusty will be targeting quality mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and other hard-fighting reef fish along the offshore ledges, reefs, and hard-bottom structure of Florida's Space Coast.

These aren't ordinary bottom-fishing trips. They're specially planned fishing adventures built around the full-moon periods when we focus our efforts on trophy-class snapper.

How We Fish for Trophy Mangrove Snapper

Our adventure begins with a run offshore from Sebastian Inlet, where we target productive natural reefs, ledges, and hard-bottom structure.

Depending on weather and fishing conditions, we'll generally work areas approximately 15–25 miles offshore.

When conditions allow, we'll collect fresh live bait before heading to our fishing grounds.

Once Captain Scott locates the right structure, we'll anchor or use our trolling motor's Spot-Lock to hold position.

Then the fun begins!

Using Captain Scott's specialized chumming techniques, we'll establish a scent trail through the water column to attract hungry snapper.

We'll fish multiple depths using live bait, dead bait, jigs, and lighter tackle that makes these powerful reef fish a blast to catch.

And when a big mangrove snapper takes the bait, you'd better be ready!

Private charter for 1–3 anglers. A full day of bottom fishing targeting trophy mangrove snapper and a mixed bag of offshore reef species.

10-Hour Trophy Mangrove Snapper Charter — $950

Private charter for 1–3 anglers. More time to explore offshore structure, work productive ledges, and pursue quality fish, with additional fishing opportunities when conditions allow.
