Booking & Cancellation Policies

At Nauti Girl Sportfishing Charters, we believe booking your next fishing adventure should be simple, transparent, and worry-free.
Whether you're joining Captain Scott and First Mate Dusty for a family fishing trip, a shark fishing adventure, or an offshore Gulf Stream expedition, we want you to understand our reservation, payment, cancellation, and weather policies before heading out.
Your safety, satisfaction, and fishing experience are always our top priorities.
Reserving Your Fishing Charter
A $250 deposit is required to reserve your charter date.
Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your fishing charter.
The remaining balance must be paid online at least 24 hours before departure, unless you have arranged to pay cash before boarding.
Charters booked less than 24 hours before departure require full payment online when booking, unless Captain Scott has approved a cash payment arrangement.
All fishing charters are private trips for your group only.
Guest Cancellations & Rescheduling
7 Days or More Before Departure
Cancel at least seven days before your scheduled charter to receive a full refund of your deposit or any charter payments already made.
Less Than 7 Days Before Departure
Cancellations made within seven days of departure may result in forfeiture of your $250 deposit.
We understand emergencies and unexpected situations happen. Please contact Captain Scott as soon as possible if you need to cancel or request a different date. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling, subject to availability.
Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows
Same-day cancellations and failure to arrive for your scheduled charter may result in forfeiture of payments made and additional charges under the cancellation terms accepted at booking.

Your Safety Always Comes First!
Florida's Atlantic Ocean can be unpredictable. Captain Scott monitors marine weather forecasts, winds, waves, thunderstorms, and sea conditions before every fishing adventure.
If Captain Scott determines that weather or sea conditions make your charter unsafe:
We will first offer to reschedule your trip for another available date.
If rescheduling is not possible or does not work for your group, you will receive a 100% refund of all charter payments made, including your deposit.
The final decision to depart is always made by Captain Scott.
Mechanical Problems & Unexpected Boat Issues
Although we maintain Nauti Girl with safety and reliability in mind, unexpected mechanical problems can occasionally occur.
If we must cancel your charter before departure because of a boat breakdown or mechanical issue, we will offer to reschedule your trip.
If rescheduling is not possible or does not work for your group, all charter payments made will be refunded in full.
Payment Methods & Crew Gratuities
We accept online payments through our booking system. Cash payments before boarding must be arranged with Captain Scott in advance.
Crew gratuities are not included in charter prices. If you enjoy your experience, a gratuity of 20–25% is appreciated but always optional.
